Outing Settlers cafe/movie

Characters involved: Shanaaz, Yiying, Daryl,K Elson, Ruixiang, WeeFong, Oswin

Shanaaz, Yiying and I wanted to watch Sherlock Holmes. Once again, it was sold out, so we watched Alvin and The Chipmunks 2.
It was a cute movie, but I still think Sherlock Holmes would be more interesting.

We walked around for a while after the movie and met up with Daryl shortly and walked to Settlers' Cafe. Along the way, Kenneth joined us.

We sat down and looked at the menu for a long long time, before finally getting the Deluxe Set and then fought over the menu to look at what drinks they had.

The first four drinks came quickly, but 3 more drinks took a longer time to come.
Anyway, the food service there was bad today and we were rather fed-up with reminding and waiting for a long time for the food.

The first game we played was Ugly Doll, where you had to spot 3 identical ugly monsters and snatch them before anyone does and say ugly 3 times when you do.
It was quite violent, haha!


Then we played MAD where you had to make out a phrase from a weird phrase that sounds like the original phrase. It was quite fun, Shanaaz winning most of it.

Third game was Wits and Wager. More intellectual/gambling game.

Then we stopped to talk and let some of them eat their food and talked a bit about horrors/ghosts, some random stuff too. Interesting to see what people had to say. Creepy actually.

Kenneth's Story:
Primary 3, he was playing hide-and-seek with his friends at a deserted place and saw a boy look at him funnily from a distance and run off. So thinking it was his friend
he gave chase. He reached the stairs and there was only up or down and the "friend" couldn't have made no noise while 'he' ran. But Kenneth saw that there was nobody. So he searched upstairs and downstairs and failed to find anything and realised that there was something amiss. He ran back to the restaurant upon realising that the boy looked like him.


(I feel so creeped out while I type...)
Kenneth also told us about his school. Ghosts in the library 2 red people and he don't dare look into the glass thing.


Daryl's story:
He and his friends were exploring the OLD SA (his school building)
They went to the top floor, and there was this door that led to the Bell tower or something. While going up they heard the bell ring, so they thought there was someone, So they went up wanting to scare the person. Weird thing is that when they went up the door was locked. So they camped outside for a while, wanted to wait for the person to come out. Suddenly the door creaked open by itself. How creepy!
They were totally freaked. So they decided to go in with their handphone lights to see and they found nothing inside.

After that we played Cranium for a while. It was fun while it lasted but soon it was time to go home!
